The New Mosher property is located approximately 45 km south of the town of Chibougamau and is accessible via a gravel road connected to Provincial Road 167. The geological setting suggests a high potential for gold deposits within the Obatogamau volcanic formation, situated 5 km northeast of the Joe Mann mine.
The property includes the historic New Mosher showing, where grab samples returned values of 16.7 g/t and 20.1 g/t Au, and channel samples yielded intersections such as 0.76 meters grading 4.11 g/t Au and 4.42 meters at 1.20 g/t Au (SIGÉOM). This gold showing is located within a sheared gabbro and basalt hosting orogenic-type gold-bearing quartz veins and orogenic sulfides.
On August 13, 2020, the corporation optioned the New Mosher property to Gitennes Exploration Inc. Under the agreement, Gitennes has the option to earn up to 85% interest in the property. Details of the agreement can be found in the press release dated June 29, 2020. Subsequently, Gitennes completed two drilling programs totaling 3,992 meters, identifying two gold-bearing shear zones: the New Mosher and Meadow showings.
Notably, drill hole NM-21-02, targeting the New Mosher showing, intersected 0.25 g/t Au over 22.0 meters, including 1.09 g/t Au over 2.00 meters. From the Meadow showing, drill hole NM-21-11 intersected 0.47 g/t Au over 16 meters, including 0.71 g/t Au over 9 meters.
